NEW MEDICATION DELIVERY SERVICE
Bertie

The exciting news is that due to the generosity of the Friends of Wyndham House we have just started a prescription delivery service.  We are targeting elderly/and or housebound people who have difficulty collecting their prescriptions from the surgery.  The feedback from people who are using this service has been very positive.  If you feel you have a genuine need for this service and live in the Silverton, Thorverton, Brampford Speke or Stoke Canon areas please contact the surgery on 01392 860034 or when next requesting your repeat prescriptions either on your slip or via the web site.

Clinics <<top

  • Ante-natal Clinics are run at the surgery by the Community Midwife Team.
  • Baby Clinic is taken by the Health Visitor attached to the practice and is run in conjunction with the Practice Nurse Immunisation Clinics.

  • Family Planning services are available, including coil fitting.
  • Cervical smears are carried out either by your doctor or the Practice Nurse. All women between the ages of 20 and 65 should be screened at regular intervals.
  • Minor surgery is provided by the doctors by appointment.

Further Information <<top

A car park is provided for the use of our patients attending the surgery and is also used by the doctors and staff.

There is a local Link-Up Service run by volunteers for patients who need transport to the surgery and are unable to get there themselves. For more details please contact the surgery.

The practice has a patient participation group called The Friends of Wyndham House Surgery and for further details please see our Friends of Wyndham House Page.

Access to the surgery is on one level and does not involve steps or kerbs. There is adequate space for wheelchair access into both the waiting room and consulting rooms, plus a disabled toilet.

Our Practice Manager welcomes any suggestions or comments you may have on our services and how we may improve them. If you have a complaint please contact the Practice Manager.
