The surgery has capacity for 1 travel consultation slot per week, this is on a Monday afternoon and is for 30 minutes. If the slot is booked you may be placed on a waiting list.

If you are planning to travel:
Please allow plenty of time – some vaccines need to be given up to 2 months in advance or require several doses.
Vaccines that are provided by the NHS for which no charges are made:
- Polio
- Tetanus
- Typhoid
- Diphtheria
- Hepatitis A
- Cholera Vaccine (2 dose course, one week apart)
We are happy to carry out the above vaccinations at the surgery. Please make an appointment with a practice nurse to review your need for any of the above vaccines (note that this is subject to having capacity as noted at the top of the page)
Vaccines for which a charge is made, and require a private consultation with a Travel Service Provider:
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Tick borne Encephalitis
- Hepatitis B for adults
- Hepatitis B for children
- Meningitis ACWY
- Tuberculosis
- Yellow Fever
- Rabies Vaccine
The above will be available at a private travel vaccination clinic or a pharmacy offering travel healthcare services. This also applies to any anti malaria tablets that are recommended.
