If you are planning to travel:
- Please allow plenty of time – some vaccines need to be given up to 2 months in advance.
- Certain vaccines may need to be ordered and kept for your use only
- Make a 20-minute appointment with Elaine Rolfe our Practice Nurse
- You will have to pay the cost of any vaccines not offered by the NHS (see below)
- You will be advised at the first consultation of any costs involved and will need to pay in advance for any vaccines we need to order.
- You may require booster vaccinations – advice will be given as to timescales and any additional costs involved.
- Please note that all patients receiving immunisations and vaccinations are advised to remain in the building for 20 minutes afterwards – please allow time for this.

Medication to take
We are happy to provide medication that you might like to take with you in your First Aid Kit. We are not allowed to prescribe this to you on the NHS but can provide it at prices considerably cheaper than found in High Street pharmacies. Malaria tablets are only available on a private prescription. Please discuss with the Practice Nurse at your appointment.
